The beautiful and historic South Brisbane Cemetery was first used in 1870 and sits on a riverside hill in Dutton Park, Brisbane, Queensland.

The 'Friends of South Brisbane Cemetery' was formed in 2005 by a group of women who regularly attended the cemetery to look after the graves and research the history of this place and the people inside it.

We invite you to explore our website and learn about the cemetery, about us and our work, and then hopefully you will be inspired to explore the cemetery itself!
